PAYMENT AND REFUND POLICY:
- Full payment is required to hold your appointment. All payments are due prior to show day, up to the second week before show day. Last minute bookings, will pay full payment at the time of sign up. A request for a show, does not confirm a booked appointment for a show.
- Payments may be paid by Zelle or PayPal.
- Pre-payments are Non-Refundable for cancellations of any service.
- NO Refunds once payment has been made. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Transfers are accepted One time only within the same calendar year, if cancelled within 14 days before your show date. A transfer fee of $50 will apply. (Anything after the time frame mentioned, will NOT be accepted). If you need to make any other changes, you will need to go through the booking process again.
- Gratuities: They are not necessary but are appreciated.
- Please DO NOT arrive late for your appointment. If you are late, your appointment will be subject to cancellation, as I will not cut into another competitor's time slot as consideration for them and their time.
SCHEDULING:
- The schedule will be sent out the week of show day with logistic information. If I am checking into a room, I will keep you informed about location and room number through email, the evening of checking in.
- The schedule will be based on the schedule of events that is posted on the promoter's website.
- If you have a request for a time slot that falls within the schedule of events and I have availability to accommodate, then I will do so if able. You may request a time through the notes section in the email.
- When requesting a time slot, please choose a time that is suitable for you based on the schedule of events.
- Booking times are NOT final. Your final time slot will be emailed the week of your show day.
- Priority will be given based on the order date, so it is recommended to book far in advance.
- Last minute bookings will not be able to be accommodated, as I try to be as fair as possible with all of my clients.
DISCLAIMER:
The flow of the show and what you do after you leave the makeup room is not in my control. Your Makeup Artist Kim is NOT responsible for you making your stage time. Your time slot is sent the week of the show, and during that time, if you do not agree with the time provided, please email me with any questions or concerns you may have.
OTHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- I acknowledge and understand that there are risks involved when it comes to the application of makeup services. I understand that any information that I withhold or that is misleading, or false could result in an undesired makeup result and/or possible complication. I hereby waive Your Makeup Artist Kim, of liability if such results or complications occur.
- Safe working environment: I, the client, acknowledge and agree that I or any client receiving services must disclose the existence of any sickness, medication interactions, or conditions that may affect the artist, myself, and others around me receiving makeup services. Your Makeup Artist Kim has the right to refuse and/or discontinue services in the event an unsafe condition arose such as firearms being present, abusive behavior, and up to the discretion of the artist on what is deemed safe.
- Your makeup Artist Kim has the right to refuse services to any client that fails to make such a disclosure, and No refund will be provided for work unable to be performed in these conditions.
- If at client location, client is to provide a safe and suitable work area for the artist, including a flat surface, adequate lighting, and electrical outlets. The artist should be protected from working in spaces without air conditioning and should have access to bathrooms.
- Indemnity: The client agrees to indemnify and hold the Makeup artist harmless against any and all claims, loss, damage, liability, cost, or expense arising out of the client's breach of this contract, including but not limited to the attorney's fees and costs incurred by the client to enforce this contract.
- Your Makeup Artist Kim has the right to take photographs, videotape, or digital recordings of me during Makeup application. These are to be used in any and all media, now or hereafter known, and exclusively for the purpose of promoting Your Makeup Artist Kim.
- Please note, prices are subject to change at any time without further notice. We reserve the right to change our product's prices at any time without further notice.
- I, the client, understand that I cannot make any last-minute changes to time or location of makeup appointment. Changes are at the discretion of the makeup artist. Does not mean there is a guarantee for a change.
- Failure to perform: In the event the makeup artist cannot perform this Agreement due to a fire, casualty, act of God, or other causes beyond the control of the parties, or due to Makeup Artists illness, then the Makeup artist shall return funds paid, but have no further liability with respect to this agreement.
- Bullying and Harassment Policy: Your Makeup Artist Kim will not tolerate any form of discrimination, bullying or harassment. This applies to all individuals that work with Your Makeup Artist Kim or engage in our services, including- but not limited to- any additional staff, clients, or any additional persons. Examples of discrimination, bullying or harassing can include: 1-unfair treatment, 2-consistently undermining an individual/s, 3-Offensive, intimidating, malicious or insulting behavior, 4-Abuse or misuse of power that undermines; humiliates or causes physical/emotional harm. Harassment is against the law. Here is a list of the protected characteristics under the discrimination law, in which harassment is in relation to: 1-Age, 2-Gender, 3-Sex, 4-Sexual orientation, 5-Race and Ethnicity, 6-Disability, 7-Pregnancy and Maternity, 8-Religion or Belief, 9-Marriage and civil partnership. In addition, any unwanted conduct of a sexual nature (sexual harassment) will not be tolerated, and steps will be taken to deal with such issues immediately.
Zero Tolerance Policy:
1- No eating DURING makeup application appointment.
2- No guests during your appointment time, unless I am coming to you. Please do not have guests, children or animals around makeup area.
3- Phone usage: I kindly ask that you switch your phone to silent mode and that you limit the use of your phone during your makeup appointment. This is a distraction! Respectfully, please handle calls or texts, before or after your makeup application appointment.
4- No bullying, harassment, or verbal, physical or sexual abuse will be tolerated.
5- Please do not be late for your appointment. We must be respectful to everyone's time.
TOUCH UP:
- I pride myself in providing you with a long-lasting makeup application on and off of the stage. I do not stay for touch-ups. But I will have touchup kits available for purchase at $10 each, as I do understand that makeup is makeup, and anything can happen.
- By submitting payment, you agree to the terms and conditions listed.
